This is a big week for me. I’m celebrating my 50th birthday, and it’s my 23-year in business. What I can tell you is that I’m grateful for many things in my life.

I am grateful to live my dream everyday as Your SmallBizLady.

I am living proof that your gifts will make room for you.

I wanted to be a professional writer since 8th grade, and my parents always supported that.

I finally understand something that my father used to say. “Youth is wasted on the young.”

There’s a difference between intelligence and wisdom.

You can’t do good work with a cluttered mind. A good night’s sleep always makes things better.

Drink more water.

You can’t have faith and worry. Pick one.

Don’t go with your gut, look at the data.

Go all out or don’t bother doing it.

Grow others around you.

When you do good, good will follow you.
