Small Victories – Most of us will never win a lottery, and if we did…
“Success is rarely accomplished in one fell swoop, but more often the culmination of many, many small victories.” - Joseph M. Marshall III
Reaching our goals and successes in life almost never happens with one big win or event. The major accomplishments of our lives are most often made up of many of little victories over time. These victories can be public or come in our inner selves or in our relationships with others but together they are BIG.
In the end, what matters most is the total sum of our victories. A person's life is the entirety of all experiences (good and bad), the sum of all thought, emotion, pain, pleasure, and memories, so the best way to live life is to maximize the total good in our lives. The total good that we experience, feel, create and give.
The truth is… we often move through life without much thought and therefore without much reward. The key to a successful and happy life comes from working toward and finding joy in our smallest as well as the biggest of victories.
“Maintaining your awareness of little victories keeps you going on the way to your big dreams.” - Andrea Goeglein
