Small Thoughts on Leadership - This Coach's Perspective
729 Words 3 minutes?
A few months ago I was on a Zoom call hosted by The Predictive Index. We are certified Predictive Index partners.
The moderator was a colleague, Ted Olson. Ted is one of the most effective sales consultant/coaches I know. (https://www.dhirubhai.net/in/tedolson).? Follow him, you'll be glad you did.?
During the call, Ted briefly mentioned he was a practitioner of Wing Chun. I immediately straightened up. Anyone who studies Wing Chun has my attention and respect.?
Wing Chun is an ancient art of Chinese Kung Fu, brought into the mainstream by Bruce Lee and recently popularized by the “Ip Man” movies. Ip Man was Bruce Lee’s legendary teacher in Hong Kong.?
I’ve studied Wing Chun on and off since I was 22. Wing Chun changed my life. It was the first discipline I was exposed too that charged my body and focused my mind.?

As for Ted and I. We connected and talked about Wing Chun. I admire his approach and dedication.? We’ve created a common bond of friendship and trust.? One day I’d love to get together with Ted and do Chi Sao (Wing Chun Sticking Hands exercise).?
I still do SLT at least three times a week and work on my Sage Powers Daily.
