The Small Habits That Lead to Big Breakthroughs in Your Career (and Life)

Do you ever feel like you're stuck in the same place, waiting for a massive breakthrough to change everything?

Here’s the truth: Most breakthroughs don’t come from one big, earth-shattering moment. They are the result of consistent, intentional small habits that you commit to every single day. ??

In my work with clients—whether they’re healing deep emotional wounds, stepping into their authentic power, or transforming their careers—I’ve seen one thing time and time again: it’s the small, aligned actions that create the biggest shifts.

Here are 3 small habits that can transform both your career and your life:

1. Start Your Day with Clarity

Before diving into emails or to-do lists, take 5 minutes to set an intention for the day. Ask yourself:

  • What energy do I want to embody today?
  • What’s one thing I can do to move closer to my goals?

When you start your day on purpose, you lead from a place of alignment, not reactivity of the rush of the external world. This habit has transformed the way I approach my work as a coach, mentor, teacher, entrepreneur and mom —and I promise it can do the same for you.

2. Honor Your Energy (and Set Boundaries)

One of the biggest mistakes I see people make in their careers is saying yes to everything. But here’s the thing: your energy is your most valuable resource.

Every time you say "yes" to something that feels out of alignment, you’re saying "no" to the things that actually matter.

Start small:

  • Say "no" to one task or meeting this week that doesn’t serve your long-term goals.
  • Use that time to focus on what lights you up.

This isn’t selfish—it’s self-mastery.

3. Reflect and Celebrate Your Wins

At the end of each day, take 2 minutes to reflect on:

  • One thing you accomplished.
  • One thing you’re grateful for.

Why is this important? Because transformation is built on momentum. When you acknowledge your growth, no matter how small, you train your mind to see progress—and that fuels your confidence and creativity.

These habits may seem simple, and they are. But that’s the beauty of them. The key to transformation isn’t complexity—it’s consistency.

These habits are the foundation of how I’ve built my career and supported countless clients in their personal, spiritual, and professional growth. ??

If you’re looking for your next big breakthrough, don’t overlook the power of the small, intentional steps you can take today.

What’s one small habit you can commit to this week that will move you closer to your goals?
