Small Habits that affect sales

The word "small" makes significant changes as we know from James Clear's book, Atomic Habits. I always give the "plane" as an example when I am with my friends and we talk about habits.

But today, I am talking about the habits that have an absolute effect on my sales performance. You can find a lot of examples on Google or Chatgpt can give you dozens of examples, but I am sharing my own experienced magical habits to help me to grow and get succeed.

  1. My number one, cliche, every time you heard of this - Taking a cold shower. I don't talk about the medical side of this habit but after this, I am feeling super energetic and powerful to achieve my goals. Especially, in the early morning.
  2. Absolutely no social media scrolling when I wake up because the news or any posts affect my feelings and shape my day, so no need for any external resource to shape my day. Maximum I try to avoid things that can bring negativity.
  3. I don't drink coffee until 11 am, usually, I do afternoon, because I let my body get its own chemicals and use my energy until I feel I really need it.
  4. Meditation - I am not saying this to get hyped, I really recommend it because it reduces stress and also increases focuse. For example, I am using pomodora principle & focus tehcnique together, just 40 mins full focused work, I really see I finished my works. Now it is time to rest.
  5. Daily, before sleeping 30 mins and Sunday 2 hours reading books, only marketing, sales & business related books. We know why we read books, we learn something from them, but daily reading helps you to apply what you read, now just read. Today's reading can help you to apply at tomorrow's work.

As bonuses I listen to stealth or lofi musics, jogging and drinking enough water.

Final thing, try to avoid everything that is negative, doesn't matter it is a person, news, or idk, because these kinda things will ruin your day, your life.

These all that I do consciousnessly, there are might be the things that I do subconsciousnessly, If I found it I will share with you.

Hi Jamil, interesting read and i also really believe in the habits. One of the habits I do is the Maui Tiny Habit technique of BJ Fogg for cultivating a positive mind set and increasing feelings of happiness and gratitude. By saying to myself when i am stepping in to the shower that this will be a great day and celebrate it ??

I do journaling when I get stressed. I write down all my so-called problems and analyze them to see if they are real or not. Most of the time, they are not a big deal, as I imagine. I do morning push-ups. It serves me as a cold shower. 50-60 of them at one time is enough to start your day. Lastly, there are a few songs that I listen to for 10 minutes to recharge. I just focus on the music and then start again.
