As a small business owner, are you trying to figure everything out yourself?

The picture shows a lone goose walking around the convenience store's parking lot, looking for food.

On its own without a partner or its flock.

This goose has a slim chance of surviving.

When I researched this, the science shares that geese have a higher chance of living longer when part of a flock.

The social structure provides increased protection from predators and helps them find food more efficiently, improving survival rates.

What about you?

You wear many hats in your business, work long hours, and attempt to solve all your business problems alone.

You may be like this lone goose wandering around a parking lot, lost and confused and lucky if it isn't hit by a car.

When you have business problems, consider asking your employees for solutions.

They are in this business with you and may view a problem and solution differently than you do.

In my forty-year wholesale business, when an owner shared a problem with me, I immediately visited with his employees to determine the facts and asked them for their advice.

And because I showed them respect and kindness, they always gave me solutions to share with the owner.

Most of the time, when I shared this solution and that it came from their employees, the owner would tell me not to be so humble, and they didn't believe me.

Your employees are a great source of solutions and ideas for your growth.

Take advantage of their experience and knowledge.

Don't be that lone goose who is lost and confused.

And if you want some strategy to grow.

Call me as I help small business owners to thrive and succeed.
