There's a relatively high chance you know you have heard about the word "Export" except you live in the metaverse. Export happens when goods and services produced in one county are sold in another country.?


If you walk into Walmart or a grocery store and you see Ukwa (Africa breadfruit) on the shelves, export made it happen.?

In a report presented by World Integrated Trade Solution (WITS) in 2019, it was stated that?


? Sub-Saharan Africa Consumer goods exports are worth US$ 41,207 million, product share of 17.07%. Sub-Saharan Africa Consumer goods imports are worth US$ 94,927 million, product share of 37.46%.


? Sub-Saharan Africa Raw materials exports are worth US$ 105,328 million, product share of 43.64%.Sub-Saharan Africa Raw materials imports are worth US$ 28,431 million, product share of 11.22%


The above statistics shows that we import more finished goods than we export products and we export more of raw materials.?
