Small business confidence drops amid coronavirus concerns

Wondering what other small business CEOs and business leaders feel about amidst this crisis?
The research on Small Business CEO Confidence Index published by Vistage in collaboration with WallStreetJournal shows that the confidence of CEOs have dropped significantly and reversed all gains in confidence recorded during the past four months.
The reasons cited were the two black swan events: the COVID-19 outbreak and the impact of the outbreak along with falling oil prices.
Moreover, twice as many small business CEOs believe that the economy will worsen rather than improve during the year ahead – 41% versus 19%. Based on this sentiment, a lot of CEOs are now changing courses in terms of investments, reducing workforces, etc.
