...not sure we can stop this but we can certainly slow down and buy time to gain experience and make better choices. Killer robots are a real threat; if you wish to further check near-future hacked technology scenario, check the episode "Hated in the Nation" (Series "Black Mirror", Season 3, Episode 6).
