Sloppy processes lead to sloppy results.

Sloppy processes lead to sloppy results.

?Sloppy processes lead to sloppy results.??One study I’ve seen says that you are 21 times more likely to convert a lead contacted by phone if you connect withing 5 minutes versus 30 minutes or longer.???Another said that improvement (over it taking just 30 minutes) was 100X for likely to convert.?

We literally attempt to have an outbound call going to QUALIFIED leads while they are looking at our website or landing page.???And as I’ve mentioned before I always design sytems to have a TEXT going to whoever’s expected to do the outbound phone call immediately that includes name, and the number “live” so that they can initiate an outbound dial.???

At the same time the prospect will get an automated Text, Email, and “ringless voicemail.”??The text and the email will include our contact record to add to their phone (aka VCard,) as well as a scheduling link to make their own appointment and a “live” phone number so that they can dial us back immediately.

Remember, prospects have already raised their hand to show some form of interest. They know who you are, and they have opted in. The whales are always worth spending a lot of money on because of the lifetime value of them, and the initial value is going to be very high. Even if you have to sift through a bunch of minnows to find a whale, the overall cost versus money earned is going to be very positive.?

Once you find someone who you think could be of value to you, don’t let email do all of the work. That’s how you lose a big fish.?

It’s hare to pin down the actual numbers of how many emails the average person receives per day but let’s give it a wide range and guess 140 to 250 per day.??One statistic that I came across shows that the average office worker receives 120 work related emails per day.????So if you compare that with the amount of direct mail the average household gets it’s going to likely be in the range of 30 or 40 to 1.????Which is more likely to have an impact?????

The second advantage of course of physical mail is that it is tangible.???Your book might become a coaster on their desk.??Your postcard may end up under a magnet on the refrigerator.???It literally hangs around.???With email and frankly all broadcast media, they either act immediately or it’s gone.???It’s exceedingly rare for anyone to print about your email and put it into their notebook or briefcase for later follow-up.
