Slope Stability:
Richard Rash

The reason most building foundation move is that the soil is either expanding, contracting, eroding or in some cases a combination. ?If your property is on a slope, ensure that the slope stability is maintained to prevent upheaval, settlement, landslides or subsidence. Implement erosion control measures, and vegetation stabilization techniques as needed. In many cases it would be advisable to consider drainage correction on the high side and/or piers or pilings on the low side.
