Do any of you get post-conference (or event) blues?

I love working remote and will still be a big believer in how important it is to have a flexible work environment but you can't go wrong with having an amazing meet up, in-person meetings, conference, or event. They're crucial for us as a thriving society and humanity in general.

After getting settled back into day-to-day life here in Denver after attending the Podcast Movement conference (briefly because I am moving to a new spot here in Denver and have more conferences to attend lol) I catch myself a little more tired than normal and missing the people I was with or have just met. I find myself in a "post-conference blues" as I like to call it.

I look at it as a good thing though because that just means I was with the right people having the right conversations and connections!

Recently On The Podcast: Slick Talk!

What started as an interview focused podcast, and has been for the last 4 years, I have been changing things up and finding excitement in finding older episodes with great clips from amazing guests and people I call friends and then turning that clip into a topic.

I still love interviewing people and see the interviews as a form of art (something I would love to geek out with anyone about) but as a host of a show, I still need to love it as much as most of my long time listeners. This has been fun for me and it's been challenging at the same time if I am being completely honest. I am not used to talking this much on my own show haha! I normally like to listen and see how I can ask the right question at the right time.

With this new format though, I found some great clips from industry experts and leaders like Robin Craigen - CoFounder of Moving Mountains , and Sarah Karakaian and Annette Grant who host the incredible Thanks for Visiting podcast!

So, without giving too many things away from the episode, we're focusing on the importance of High Level Guest Experience and what that looks like from a guest perspective as well as a business and team perspective!
