Slicing Technology Research on Lemon

Lemon, the third biggest citrus variety in the world, behind orange and mandarin orange. It contains lots of Vc, Vb1, Vb2, citric acid, malic acid etc. Recently, lemon slices are more popular with many consumers. And more and more factories are focus on lemon slice producing. AD(hot air dried) and FD (Freezing Dried) lemon slices are packed with beautiful package and are selling in the market.

When lemon slices production scales are bigger and bigger, most manufacturers have one question: is there one feasible solution for lemon cutting with more efficiency?

The answer is YES.

Our technical team workers developed one fruits slicing machine. This machine can cut the lemon into slices, further more, the thickness of slice can be adjusted. Simple introduction of this machine are following:

This cutting machine is suitable for cutting lemons into circular lemon pieces. Cutting speed can approach to around 16PCS/S and the capacity could approach to around 1-2T/H based on different cutting thickness.The speed and cutting thickness can be adjusted according to client’s request.This cutter can be used widely in various of lemon processing industries, such as lemon strips/slices production, dried/IQF lemon slices production etc.

This machine is mainly composed of 4 Cutting knives, 8 product inlets, 1 product outlet, 3 safe protecting settings and other control/driving parts. The parts which contacted fruits are top quality SUS304. PLC and related control components are famous brand OMRON.

For operation, first, parameters like cutting thickness shall be set by touching screen. Put the lemon into the product inlets, and then push the startup button. The circular lemon pieces will obtained through product outlet.High cutting efficiency and good cutting effect have been approved by our clients.

 Furthermore, this cutter also can be used for other similar fruits/vegetables which dia.are ≤85mm， such as dragon fruit, kiwi fruit, orange, pomelo, potato, apple, onion etc.
