Sleep is the world's most under prescribed drug.

Sleep is the world's most under prescribed drug.

Are you getting enough sleep each night?

Our bodies rely on sleep to function optimally. Lack of sleep can impair cognitive function, affect mood, and even impact physical performance. The brain, which controls our thoughts, emotions, and actions, requires sufficient rest to recharge and function properly.

When you are sleep-deprived, expect:

  • Weight gain due to disruptions in hormone regulation
  • Impaired reaction time
  • Weakened immune system and frequent illnesses
  • Increased anxiety
  • Decreased productivity

Sleep is crucial for our body's processes, including memory consolidation, hormone regulation, and immune function.

When you're well-rested, expect:

  • Improved energy levels, more stamina, better concentration and productivity
  • Sharper thinking, better problem-solving skills
  • Reduced irritability, improved emotional resilience
  • Better memory and information retention
  • Reduced risk of chronic diseases

Recommendation: Aim for 7-9 hours of quality sleep each night.

Try this evening routine for better sleep and relaxation:

  • Establish a consistent sleep schedule (7 days/week)
  • Set a reverse alarm (Mine is for 9 p.m. to start my bedtime routine)
  • Limit screen time before bed (read, stretch, meditate instead)
  • Ensure your sleep environment is comfortable and conducive to rest (black out conditions, 65°F/18°C, quiet environment BONUS: If you're a mouth breather like me, try using a nasal strip and mouth tape to force your body to breath through your nose while you sleep. I use?Hostage Tape.
