How do you start your day?

You are worth 30 minutes… I heard Tony Robbins say "if you don’t have 10 minutes for yourself than you don’t have a life"… so make time even if it’s 10 minutes you are not allowed to do this at work, or after you’ve been on your phone, it has to be done first thing! The best 2 hours for your brain are the first few hours of the morning. Benjamin Franklin used to spend an hour a day before anything else reading he credited this as a secret to his success. If you own your morning you own the day. In the morning your willpower is the strongest.

 ??Tip #1 Don’t hit the snooze button or your husband when he says get up??

??Tip #2 Don’t look at your phone the moment you wake up you will be letting the demands of the world dictate how you are going to begin your day. Emails, Texts, Social media, all distractions that can cause anxiety, stress, loss of self -worth. You are overloading your brain with cortisol stress-producing hormones. You have to take back control of your entire day by spending your first 30 minutes away from your phone. A study showed the majority of successful people do not sleep with their phones in their rooms. Over 46% of people look at their phones before they even get out of bed. When you open your eyes before you do anything be thankful you have another day to be the best you can be that day.

??#3 Spend time in thought, listen to your thoughts, get grounded, jot down your thoughts and prayers in a journal

??#4 Start a Gratitude Journal-every day right down at least 3 things you are thankful for

??# 5 Read something to help your trade, something positive, something to get you closer to your goals, read the Word,

??#6 Listen to motivating uplifting music

??#7 Workout, get outside go for a walk get your blood flowing and endorphins popping

??#8 Be a pro and have a process a routine commit to it Plan each day the night before Pre-commit… committing in advance takes the question out of whether you will do something or not… remind yourself of how it feels when someone breaks a commitment to you…do your hardest tasks in the morning

??#9 Identify one priority that you want to get done today and finish it, Plan & strategize map out the direction of your day Visualize your life goals Abe Lincoln said give me 6 hours to chop down a tree and I’ll take the first 4 to prepare my ax.

??#10 Give yourself a quitting time for work & Stick to it

??#11 Focus on things you can change and let go of ones you can’t

??#12 Ask yourself if today was the last day of your life, would you still want to do what you’re about to do? If you answer no several times a week then you need to pivot and make some changes

Nothing changes if nothing changes…
