THE DETAILS
?? Jeff Bezos’ parents are keeping Miami real estate hot. The two just dropped $44 million on their second Coral Gables mansion in the span of just one week — talk about fast fulfillment. The buy brings their total spend in the Gables to $78 million.??
?? Moguls of football and real estate just bought a record-breaker of a mansion. The Glazer family are the proud owners of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Manchester United, and now a $34.5 million mansion in San Francisco. They closed off-market, and stole Zuck’s spot for priciest home sale in the city.

?? Texas renters dreaming of homeownership are facing a reality check . The starter home plan is a non-starter in Austin, as the cost gap between renting and buying grows wider. It may be a while before the next buyers’ market, but median home prices have dipped slightly from an all-time high.?
?? Helmut Jahn was the architecture darling of Chicago, and his son, Evan, has thoughts about the future of skyscrapers in the windy city. He weighed in on the famous Thompson Center redesign, best practices for architects when working with developers, and addressed office vacancies in our sit-down.
