Skydive for charity - Patricia Fleming Foundation

Hello everyone,

Please take a minute to read this. I have decided to try and conquer my fear of heights by signing up to skydive in Dubai on Wednesday 2nd March 2016 – just before I return to London.

Honestly, I’m absolutely terrified. However, one of the main reasons why I wanted to do this was to raise money for charity and therefore, I have chosen the Patricia Fleming Foundation. The foundation was founded by Jayne Fleming, Reed Smith’s pro bono counsel. The foundation provides urgently needed medical, mental health, and other services to refugees and displaced individuals who need to be evacuated from the Middle East (Jordan, Syria and Iraq) and Haiti for protection. Funds are also used to reduce vulnerability of clients while their cases are prepared, including conducting home visits, providing food and emergency shelter, as well as meeting other basic needs. As you all know, this is a prevalent topic in the media today and they desperately need our help.
