SkyCell's Employee Spotlight: Insights from Nathalie
In our #EmployeeSpotlight series, we delve into the diverse career paths of SkyCell employees. They share inspiring personal stories, career expertise, and a glimpse into what makes our company culture unique.
Today, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Nathalie Linden , our Event Manager, to learn more about her inspiring journey within the company and uncover some of the valuable insights she’s gained along the way. ??
1. What drew you to apply to SkyCell, and how long have you been with the company?
I joined SkyCell in 2018, drawn by the exciting opportunity to be part of a start-up at a pivotal moment in its growth. The idea of shaping something innovative and meaningful, while being part of the core team, truly inspired me. From day one, I felt motivated knowing that my contributions were valued and directly impacted the company’s success.

2. Has your role evolved since you first joined the company, and if so, how?
When I first joined SkyCell, I started as the Executive Assistant (EA) to the co-founders, CEO Richard Ettl and CTO Nico Ros . Being part of the company's early days meant wearing many hats, so in addition to my EA duties, I supported various teams - helping finance with admin tasks, organizing company-wide travel, and assisting marketing with events.
I discovered a real passion for event organizing, and as the company grew, so did my workload. Eventually, I had enough responsibilities for two roles, so I spoke with my managers. They supported me in transitioning to a full-time Event Manager role while finding a great EA to take over my original tasks.
Since moving into the marketing department, I’ve been fortunate to shape my role and take on larger, more exciting projects. I now organize major events with up to 200 attendees, spanning continents—from Asia to Europe to the USA. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’m proud of how much we’ve grown along the way.

3. Could you share insights into the pivotal moments or projects that have shaped your career journey within SkyCell?
One of the most significant projects that has shaped my career at SkyCell is our participation in LogiPharma . As the company has expanded, so has our presence at the exhibition. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see our stand evolve and become larger and more visually appealing each year.
Building strong relationships with the event organizers has been crucial to our success. LogiPharma is always a fun and exciting project for me, providing a chance to represent our brand while showcasing my passion for creating memorable experiences, like our Champagne stand, Ladies in Pharma Brunch, unique giveaways, and more. Watching our presence grow year after year has been a highlight of my journey at SkyCell, and I feel proud and grateful for the opportunity to create such impactful events.

4. Can you share any advice or insights from your career experiences within SkyCell that might benefit others seeking to develop their careers within the company?
My top piece of advice for anyone looking to grow their career at SkyCell, or in similar roles is to always be kind and willing to lend a hand, even when it’s outside your job description. When I first joined the company, I often stepped in to support different teams. For me, it was all about teamwork, and initially I underestimated how much those small gestures of support would benefit me in the long run.
Building strong connections across departments made it easier for me to collaborate and seek help when needed. In a fast-growing company like SkyCell, where teamwork is essential, being generous with your time and support truly makes a difference. It not only strengthens relationships but also opens doors to unexpected opportunities.
