With our previous FTX drone model, however, one challenge became increasingly apparent: manual battery replacement.

Our previous FTX drone model required a fresh battery swap after each delivery—a process that involved hands-on labor, slowed down our delivery flow, and increased costs. We realized that for the food delivery market’s economics, we needed a smarter solution—one that could both streamline operations and support faster, more efficient deliveries.

Our new Sky 2 isn’t just an upgraded drone; it’s an entire delivery platform built with efficiency in mind. Each Sky 2 drone is assigned its own pad that also functions as a fast-charging station. Upon landing, the drone automatically connects to its pad and begins a rapid charging process—no human intervention needed! Within minutes, Sky 2 is fully charged and ready for its next delivery, cutting out the costly labor involved in manual battery exchanges.

Our charge pads are designed with simplicity and flexibility in mind. They’re compact, easy to deploy, and adaptable to our network needs. This means that whether we’re expanding an existing station or establishing a new one, we can adjust quickly to meet increasing demand for drone deliveries.
