I skipped publishing an edition of this LinkedIn Newsletter last week because of the "long" holiday weekend many people (you?) took last Thursday.
And am amazing thing happened.
The world kept spinning (phew).
This is a reminder.
The Problem:?I'm A People Pleaser
This week, imagine you and I are standing in line at the grocery store.
Your choice of which one and why we are even there getting something together.
ME: "Hey, how are you?"
YOU: "I am a people pleaser."
You know the type (or are you one)?
While it's great to please people, remember...
You can't please all of the people all of the time.
The Actionable Tip: Skip It
Stop trying to please all of the people all of the time.
Why?
It's not possible.

8 个月My actionable tip on this topic is that I do my best not to hang out with people pleasers. Since we tend to be similar to the people we hang out with the most, I skip staying around people pleasers. Helps it not to rub off on me.
