Skincare Ingredients - Build A Simple Routine
Skin Beauty
We have devoted ourselves to creating value, integrity, and loyalty, in the skincare and beauty industry, since 1999.
Step 1: Cleanser
The general rule is that cleansing your face twice per day, once in the morning and once at night, is ideal. Cleansing in the morning will remove any sweat or oil left from your pillow and hair. However, there is one exception to the twice-daily rule: dry skin. If you have dry skin, using water in the morning is good enough. Cleansing your skin at night, however, should never be skipped. When choosing a facial cleanser, look for fragrance-free, minimal ingredients, ceramides, and glycerin to restore and maintain the skin barrier.?
Step 2: Moisturizer
Next, use an oil and fragrance-free moisturizer. If you have oily or acne-prone skin, don't skip daily moisturizer use. Washing too much without the appropriate use of a moisturizer will trigger an over-production of oil on your skin. However, those with oily skin should use non-comedogenic moisturizers. The term?"non-comedogenic"?on a label means that the ingredients will not block pores and cause further breakouts. The general list of skincare ingredients is a very long and ever-changing one, so here are some of the key ones to know:

Step 3: SPF
Sunscreen is your first defense against skin cancer. If you were to do only one thing for your skin, SPF is the most important. Try to use a sunscreen that is at least SPF 30 or higher, and apply it daily, making it the final step in your skincare routine. When choosing which type of sunscreen to use, there are two options: Chemical or mineral-based. Mineral sunscreens block the sun's rays from penetrating the skin, using ingredients like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide. Chemical sunscreens absorb UV rays by relying on octocrylene or avobenzone.
As your skincare routine continues to develop, the most critical piece of information to remember as you're using products is this: Less is more. If a new skincare routine doesn't seem like it's "working" right away, know that patience is a virtue when it comes to skincare. Give your skin a chance to get familiarized with a product or ingredient for at least two to three months before switching. Then, of course, the exception will be if you develop an allergic reaction to a product. Bottom line: Trust in the process and follow through with whatever routine you set out for yourself.
