SKIN CANCER SCREENING

Over the last weekend I participated in a community health fair and screened for skin cancer. I found many actinic keratoses, one dysplastic nevus, one basal cell carcinoma and one malignant melanoma.

I urge my dermatologist colleagues to participate in these, especially this month as melanoma awareness month. I aslo urge everyone to see a dermatologist and get checked--even the dermatologists as we are also not immune!
