The program delivers faster, cheaper skills assessments and improves employability for migrants. These Pilots enable onshore migrants with the skills in priority occupations to join the workforce in Australia.

If you are a migrant in Australia, the Pilots can help you get your skills recognised. This will show you have the skills needed to work in Australia. In summary, you are eligible for Pilot 2 if you meet all the following:

  • I have skills, experience and/or qualifications in an eligible occupation
  • I do not have a skills assessment completed in that occupation
  • I am living in Australia on an eligible visa – a primary holder of a family, partner, humanitarian, or refugee visa or a secondary holder of a skilled visa

My visa was granted on or after 1 January 2016

The Pilots can help you in two ways:

  1. A free and fast-tracked skills assessment
  2. Free coaching and help with workplace skills
