Extremely proud and Excited for Deion Saunders — Coaching at Jackson State College for the past three seasons finishing with a record of 27-5. Jackson State is undefeated this year with a record of 12 wins and 0 losses.
After receiving various division 1 head coaching job offers this season, Deion Saunders states, “you either get elevated or terminated” Deion Saunders is currently getting paid $300,000 annually at Jackson State. On a much deeper note — Deion is impacting young men to become accountable, responsible, independent, and functional in a society that they can positively influence.
That’s the biggest Win for me, Deion Saunders, and his ability to change a culture.
Deion Saunders's contract with Colorado University is worth over $5 million per year. Deion wanted to impact and change the brand to an HBCU (Historically Black College/University) Jackson State University. He's brought not only a winning culture to Jackson State but also a changed, respectable brand, all while putting HBCU schools back on the map. Now Deion has the opportunity to bring hope into a different community, locker room, team, brand, and town, Colorado.
Colorado went 1-11 this year, 5-19 since 2021, and has only had 2 winning seasons in the last 17 seasons.
I’m inspired. I’m mesmerized. & I’m wishing the best for Deion Saunders and his team Colorado this upcoming season! Most importantly, I write this article to spread a message that we can all inspire just like Deion !!! This is the outcome of us solving a formula in which, when we walk in light of the gifts and talents that God has blessed us with, to serve him and those around us, then we can possess & bring about change and hope anywhere we go.
