If you ask anyone if he/she wants to become a faster learner and a better communicator, 99% of times the answer would be a YES.

Sketchnoting has the power to enable you to learn faster and communicate better. The term sketchnoting is fairly new but the concept is much much older. Other names of this concept are doodling, graphic documentation or other similar terms.

"Visual thinking is a learning style where the learner better understands and retains information when ideas, words and concepts are associated with images."  - Wikipedia

Research suggests that about 30% of humans are pure visual thinkers, 45% use visual and thinking in form of words in combination and the remaining 25% are pure word based thinkers.

It is also well known that a picture is worth a thousand words. So, why not use this way of thinking, learning and communicating to our advantage?

If you have doodled small sketches in the margins of notebooks you used at school, college or work, you already know quite a lot about sketchnoting.

I have been using this method of learning, documenting and communicating for a long time and decided to make an online course about it. It is a short course of 30 minutes and also has a 10 minutes of sketchnoting demo at the end. I have hosted it on Skillshare.
