Six Ways to Use Social Media Creatively on Less Time Effectively

Six Ways to Use Social Media Creatively on Less Time Effectively

Six “Cs” of Effectively Using Your Social Media, Now by Tony Astro.

Whatever you are in business or trying to make an influence to more groups of people Social Media is the best way to communicate your ideas and thoughts to bring your brand to life and connect people to influence or inspire, not just your connections, colleagues or customers but the global community.

In 12 years of me using the Facebook & YouTube platform or social media in general and especially now in this time where many are unemployed or simply working at home the following in a hard way and I wanted to share them with you. Here are my six C’s:

  • Choose the Correct Platform and Use their Software Features.

For me primarily, it’s Facebook & Youtube. Before posting, find the right social media platform for your business. Your target customer is not using every platform out there. You have to figure out where they spend time, then build a presence on this platform. Creating a library of quality content on Facebook is pointless if your buyers are not there, too.

Take advantage of using tools like Facebook Frame, Virtual Rooms, Instagram’s GIF for Story, Zoom’s or Facebook’s video template backgrounds, etc.

  • Checkout Your Competitor

Gauge or regularly check your competitors are posting or doing by asking questions like — what platforms do they spend time on? What type of content are they sharing regularly? How often do they share something new?

Understanding the strategies used by your competitor will help you develop a roadmap for you. Analyze your competitor for new opportunities differentiates your brand from your target customers.

  • Complete and be Current on Your Profiles & Post

Have a clear summary of what you do in your profile and cover a photo that must be free from too much text but descriptive visually of what you're doing. These allow you to enter and showcase information about your business effectively — be sure that the information is up-to-date and accurate across all platforms.

Avoid confusing your customers with different addresses or information on your sites to be more credible. And don't post repeat, copied, or outdated information and even generic stock photos.

  • Consistent on your Content

Consistency means that your social media presence’s overall tone matches your established voice, values, and personality. Your bio should match the profile image you display, matching the cover photo and content.

If you use multiple platforms, ensure all your accounts have your recognizable brand with a consistent story or tone for your business. Today’s customers want a meaningful connection with your brand, and contrasting or mixed messages will confuse followers and block your pages.

  • Curate a Content with Character

Create quality content to build the right & quality followers then engage with them regularly & consistently. How, by sharing quality content and answering their comments, you can establish your company and your personal brand as a thought leader in the industry.

Acquiring a following or likes or reactions by using your social media more often and look for models but don't copy. Be current and well informed is the best way to not only get followers but drive them to your business or idea that you want to "sell".

  • Capitalize on Computer-Based or Cyber Automation

If you don’t want to hire a social media staff yet, you can subscribe or take advantage of SAAS aka Software As An Automated Service (I added the Automation there for accuracy of the acronym, I can also add subscription).

Examples are PromoRepublic, Missingltr, Semrush, or HootSuite for automated social content posting. BeLive, Podcast.io, Bigmarker as alternatives to Zoom or Recast for live streaming. Fotor, Artboard Studio, YayStudio, or Jumpstory for visuals and graphics.

There are thousands of tools so be careful in choosing by using the trial version before you commit to a subscription.

  • Now what?

Finally, get these six items as your basic but don't end it here. Practice and learn this daily and be creative and open to expand or use other people's ideas and improve them. You can be unique by adopting other people's use and post on social media.
