Six tips to create a life of Love, Joy, Kindness and Happiness:
When the Horses & I connect with my clients online, we teach them how to identify negative and positive expectancy cycles and we give them the tools needed to reverse the former and accelerate the later. I take my clients on a journey with my horses of leadership, self discovery, balance, boundaries, perfectionism, controlling and habits.
You will learn to be safe around horses and experience and process emotion as they do. Emotion is neither good nor bad; it’s simply information. The woman who forms a trust with the horse inside, who appreciates and pays attention to the wisdom of the prey, cannot possibly abuse herself or anyone else, and it will become a lot more difficult for others to victimize her as well.
Six tips to create a life of Love, Joy, Kindness and Happiness:
1. Give yourself permission to be vulnerable. When we accept emotions - such as fear, sadness, or anxiety as natural, we are more likely to overcome them. Rejecting our emotions, positive or negative, leads to frustration and unhappiness. Reach out for help.
2. Happiness lies at the intersection between pleasure and meaning. Whether at work or at home, the goal is to engage in activities that are both personally significant and enjoyable. When this is not feasible, make sure you have happiness boosters, moments throughout the week that provide you with both pleasure and meaning.
3. Keep in mind that happiness is mostly dependant on our state of mind, not on our status or the state of our bank account. Barring extreme circumstances, our level of wellbeing is determined by what we choose to focus on (the full or the empty part of the glass) and by our interpretation of extremely of external events. For example, do we view failure as a disaster or do we see it as a learning opportunity.
4. Simplify! We are generally, too busy, trying to squeeze in more and more activities into less and less time. Quantify influences quality, and we compromise on our happiness by trying to do too much.
5. Remember the mind-body connection. What we do - or do not do - with our bodies influences our mind. Regular exercise, adequate sleep, and health eating habits lead to both physical & mental health.
6 Express gratitude, whenever possible. We too often take our lives for granted. Learn to appreciate and savour the wonderful things in life from people to food from nature to a smile.
By taking responsibility for your own life and staying with who you are, you are enough and perfect in every way. There is no other being out there in the heavens, in the universe, or belief system that can give you what you need to be present in your life and to fully experience this amazing gift of life. It is yours, you have it all, and sometimes the biggest challenge can be to fully experience the unique being that you are.
