"FANTASY" BY T. THOMASON

“Fantasy,” T. Thomason’s new single, is an indie pop bop that flips the script on the power dynamics of desire. With playful joy, the song celebrates all hot bodies and healthy boundaries.?Stream/Purchase here: https://sixshooterrecords.lnk.to/fantasyLK

FOR EDEN BY BOY GOLDEN

Utopic and wistful, Boy Golden searches for the best of all possible worlds in For Eden, a continuation of his “follow your art” motto. Recorded entirely to cassette, the album’s origins - analog and off-the-grid - speak to the more personal, self-reflective mood of the collection. Label Highlights:

  • The Dead South spent some quality time in Nashville where they sold out two nights at The Ryman and played an in-store at Vinyl Tap (a fantastic record store/bar/venue after our own hearts).
  • Boy Golden celebrated the release of For Eden with a hometown in-store performance at Into The Music. July truly belonged to Boy Golden, who also showed up on Spotify’s New Music Friday billboard in Toronto.
  • William Prince made his debut at Newport Folk Fest! As this year’s recipient of the John Prine Songwriter Fellowship, William opened Newport’s 65th Anniversary with his beautiful set, which included a duet with Jobi Riccio of Prine’s “In Spite of Ourselves.” Later that night, William joined an all-star stage with Hozier, Allison Russell, Mavis Staples, Joan Baez, Nathaniel Rateliff, Wesley Schultz, Kaia Kater and Madison Cunningham to close out an absolutely perfect festival day.
  • Peter Dreams and special guests MOONRIIVR played Hillside. This is the first summer festival appearance for his new solo project.
  • Meanwhile, NYSSA made a splash at Calgary Folk Festival where she played a headline set and multiple workshops including one with Margaret Glaspy and KT Tunstall.

Product of the Month:

For Eden by Boy Golden

This vinyl is made from 100% recycled material. In "For Eden," Boy Golden seeks an ideal world, continuing his "follow your art" ethos from his "Church of Better Daze" debut. Recorded in solitude on cassette in a cabin, the album features personal, self-reflective country waltzes and folk tunes, showcasing his band's excellence and serene compositions.
