Six patients in search of a doctor?

Location: intensive care unit of a huge hospital.....

Six patients, A, B, C, D, E and F in severe conditions can be seen.....They are in need of attention...they need water, they need bedpans, they are hungry; they didn't even get their regular drips, medicines, x-rays or ECGs.....four of them are in last stages. They shout for help....the power is cut...they can't press the alarm or do they have fans or AC running.....sweating and stinking, they are in great distress.

There are no attendants, ward boys, nurses or doctors around.....

The most outspoken of them D (to others): where the hell are all these people...?.till two days back they were swarming all over the place....what is happening here?

A wiser man F: Mr. D...we are not important anymore....we have one foot in the grave...they have all been attending some deadly virus affected patients....we may have to make way for them.

Aggressive A: I don't care what they do, I am going out to see that idiot doctor.

he starts removing all wires, tubes and bandages....

Cool C: Mr. A, let us be practical....the poor guy may be trying to save people at his own risk. We are doomed any way....let others at least recover.

B and E: Mr. A, we are ready to come with you....let us decide once for all if we are going to get attention or not....

E: I know the media will be interested in our story...Let us go A and B

A: If nothing happens immediately, I am going to smash the whole place....after having spent so much, if I have to suffer for basic needs, I can't keep quiet.

B: Why don't they allow our kith and kin...two days they haven't come

A, B, D, E, and F: What about our family, who will take care of them?...let us search the doctor who promised total recovery....and help at all times and give him a lesson.

All except C walk out but see that all the doors are closed...

C: What a bunch, they refuse to understand the reality...what the poor doctor can do in such dire situation....after all, he is also a human being with, maybe a family to take care.....and who can defy death?.... Let me listen to the breaking news before the mobile gets discharged......he increases the volume....." More than 30,000 die all over the world due to the deadly Covid-19....most of the countries have locked down....no real solution or vaccine found so far....."....the mobile battery conks out.
