BIM Six Nations - Prologue
With an exciting sporting competition like the Six Nations well under way I thought it would be useful fun to compare how each nation is doing in regards to their adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
To do so, I have come up with 3 simple trials to establish who the 2016 BIM Six Nations Champion is:
- Round 1: Case Studies
I will Google “Nation*> BIM Case Studies>” and take all of the case studies I find on the first two search pages for each nation and divide by their respective national populations. Each nation will then be ranked by their score. - Round 2: Social Media
The second round will involve searching for Twitter relevant accounts. Each nation will be ranked based on the number of results after searching “Nation* BIM>” and divide by their respective national population. - Round 3: Government
The final round will involve Googling “BIM in Nation*>” and ranking each Nation based on the amount of searches that appear before their first .gov website including the BIM acronym.
The competition will be held on Tuesday the 15th of March, with the results posted the following day. Nations will gain points equal to their rank for each round, the team will the lowest average rank will be declared the winner!
*For this competition we will be including the terms UK & Europe for fairness, and distribute the results into their respective nations of origin. Also each country will be searched using their English and native names.
