Bold minimalism?
Zach Nichols, Designer
My design prediction for 2025 is bold minimalism. And basically that’s going to look like the focus on essential items or core brand elements only. It’ll look like big, bold logos paired with strong, clean typography with a focus and emphasis on visual balance—and a ton of open space.
Hidden interactivity
Abby Williams, Digital Designer
I think you’ll start to see a lot more hidden interactivity design, whether that’s microanimations that feel more tactile, or fonts that you can interact with that morph and bend—responsive elements that are able to adapt to you that feel a lot more tailored, playful and fun.
Texture

This year I want to see more texture in design. When I think texture, I think David Carson, and not just his use of grungy images and overlays, but his use of typography creates its own kind of texture. I think that modern brands can embrace texture without going full ’90s grunge, though. Texture creates depth and identity, and elements like patterning your film photography can add a lot of personality to a design.
Organic ornamentation?
Nadia Nyberg, Designer
One trend that I’ve noticed emerging in design recently is organic ornamentation. It’s all about these intricate, nature-inspired patterns and forms that create a vibrant complexity, harkening back to historical movements like art nouveau. Whether it’s elaborate borders or decorative details, I think we’ll be seeing a lot more of this organic approach to ornamentation in 2025.
Risograph printing
Rachel Kim, Senior Designer
A trend I’m going to carry in 2025 is risograph printing. As a designer and a lover of illustration, the process of risograph has the quality of being both digital and handmade. And just seeing the grades of the paper against the ink in these beautifully bright palettes is really exciting and something I think we’ll see more of in the future.
Scroll-triggered animations made with GSAP
John Reglin, Senior UX Designer
One trend that I think we will continue to see shape digital experiences in 2025 would be scroll-triggered animations made with GSAP. As brands begin to prioritize immersive, interactive experiences that really set themselves apart online, I would expect that we can see more fluid, story-driven animation progressive reveals, seamless microinteractions that really guide the user intuitively through the website and tell a story.
That’s all for now!
