Six Canadian provinces released the latest PNP Draw Results

IRCC has released a new Immigration Levels Plan 2024-26, targeting a new number of permanent residents they aim to welcome. This plan was released on November 1, 2023, announcing that 110,000 newcomers who acquire the points required for Canada PR will be invited through Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) in 2024 and 120,000 in 2025 and 2026.?

Six Canadian provinces – Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island – have invited candidates to apply for provincial immigration. All except Quebec and Nunavut may have invited economic immigrants to apply for nomination through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP).?

Most Recent Provincial Immigration Results?

Ontario

On October 30, 2023, Ontario sent out invitations to apply to the candidates in the Master’s and PhD Graduate Streams under the OINP or Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program.

  • 1051 ITAs were issued to candidates under Master’s Graduate with a score of 43 and above.
  • 66 ITAs were issued under PhD Graduate stream with a score of 42 and above.

British Columbia?

On October 31, 2023, 203 PNP candidates were invited by British Columbia.?

The province conducted four separate draws. The largest draw was for Skilled Workers with a minimum score of 111, followed by International Graduates with a score of 113, and Entry-Level and Semi-Skilled candidates who scored a minimum of 91.

The remaining three BC PNP draws were occupation-specific and were aimed at Skilled Workers and International Graduates with a minimum score of 60. The remaining three draws invited –

  • 48 early childhood educators and assistants
  • 22 healthcare professions
  • Less than 5 other priority occupations

Quebec

Quebec has a separate Immigration Levels Plan that was announced with the federal Immigration Levels Plan 2024-26 on November 1. It aims to welcome 30,650 skilled workers in 2024 for in-demand occupations listed in the Canada Skilled Occupation List and 31,500 skilled workers in 2025.

Quebec conducted its latest draws on 26 October, inviting 1220 candidates and targeting –

  • Multiple trades occupations with a score of more than 465 points.
  • Tech, healthcare, and other occupations with scores greater than 608.

In both draws, a 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French or equivalent was required.

Alberta?

Alberta conducted the latest draws on October 24 and October 26.?

  • On October 24, 22 candidates were through the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway with Alberta job offer stream. The lowest CRS score was 326.
  • On October 26, 100 candidates were invited who qualified under the Family Connection and Primary Occupation In Demand stream. The minimum CRS score was 369.

Manitoba

On November 2, Manitoba held a draw and invited 400 candidates to apply for nomination through MPNP (Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program).?

Three separate draws were conducted.

  • For Skilled Workers in the Manitoba stream, 204 candidates were invited with a minimum score of 768.
  • For the Skilled Workers Overseas, the province invited 65 candidates with a minimum score of 708 as a part of a strategic recruitment initiative.
  • For the International Education Stream, 131 candidates were invited from the International Education Stream. No minimum score was specified.

Prince Edward Island

Prince Edward Island or PEI conducted its draw on November 2. In this draw, the province invited 41 Labour and Express Entry candidates who were working in the healthcare, food processing, manufacturing, and agriculture sectors.

PEI has invited 2,385 candidates through PEI PNP in the last 12 months.?
