?Life is a big drama stage...there are twists and turns...people have their entries and exits and they have their own role to play." - William Shakespeare
It is very much understood that life is bound to change.Life is a game and the only thing you know about this game is the level of uncertainty involved in it.The problem arises when it changes too fast.A sudden change will definitely create problems and is tough to handle. accept is the word.Increase your power of acceptance. It is all in the mind, you train it well and you will see the results yourself. Slowly start accepting the things the way they are and you will feel much better. I had friends , some serious close friends . we used to meet daily , spend time together but then came and we all got admitted to different colleges and in different cities.Things changed but then we all met new people and made new friends. This is the way of life.We accepted the change.
People live with each change. Coping is a distant story. The world is not constant, neither is life. When the life that we live in changes with time, we tend to change with the life around us. Simply put, we live with the changes around us. The pace may be the same every time, but still.

This happens quite frequently to me as an Empath(someone who feels others emotions as their own). This definitely explains the random people; you may just be intuning with their emotions too deeply which causes you to cry. I find crowded environments like nyc are a blessing and a curse. If you can keep your boundaries up somewhat and lock onto one person at a time it's a fascinating experience to have at a distance as you try to guess others lives, but it can also be immensely overwhelming to have so many clashing feelings at once. Really tends to depend on the day for me personally but I'm also just beginning to set boundaries since I never used to.
As for the landmarks, it wouldn't surprise me at all if you're spiritually in tuned as well in some way. You likely just get feelings about things, that are typically true. Perhaps your timing is good, you'll always know when to get up and check your food and have only a second or so remaining. Things like that. I'm just guessing of course, based on the question and those are more in line with what I experience. I could be totally off base. I have something similar that happens to me where my eyes tear and I start crying if I see something supernatural that's real. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does, it's very noticeable and can be scary because it's totally out of my control. Now I just view it as a kind of confirmation. Cheers!
