Situational Leader 9/11

We all talk about leadership and also say leaders are born and not made ! Situational leadership is one of the most important and essential skill of a leader. Seventeen years ago. today, Tod Beamer and some others exactly showed what leadership is - taking a control of the situation that nobody had idea when they boarded the plane or entered the World Trade Center. It was not on their "Risk" or "Issue" log as project manager would say. Tod Beamer and few others, did not give up thinking "situation is doomed and we have nothing to gain !!". They acted and saved America's dignity and lives of lot of people in or around The White House by preventing a possible attack. They were not doomed, they became hero - A real situational leaders !! Our salute to them on this anniversary of 9/11.
