Sitting on the actual Color couch

The latest episode of Vincent Taylor’s podcast ‘The Color Couch’ is like the Lost Ark of the Covenant but without the melting heads bit. Okay that’s a bit of a stretch but it was a lost episode for a while there. I’d recorded right before New York locked down last year and the file went missing. ‘Went missing’ sounds so much more mysterious that ‘I lost it’ so I’m going going to run with that.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Director Juan Poclava. We had worked together on a spot he had directed for LG called ‘What’s your favorite thing’ and we hit it off right away.

The fun of this LG commercial was that it was a collection of favorite things that were so beautifully captured that we were then able to blend a collection of ‘favorite color grades’ together to suit the story.
