Site Reliability Transformation through DORA Metrics


In the dynamic world of startups, growth comes with its own set of challenges. One of our key challenges was ensuring a stable and reliable service while scaling rapidly. I'm excited to share how we tackled this head-on and significantly reduced outages by implementing DORA Metrics (DevOps Research and Assessment Metrics). Here's how it made all the difference:

Bringing Structure: DORA Metrics introduced much-needed structure to our processes. We began tracking key metrics like Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate, and Time to Restore Service. This not only provided us with a clear overview of our performance but also helped identify areas that required immediate attention.
