Have you ever wondered what happens to us after we die? Where do we go? Is there another world, or another universe waiting for us to welcome us when we pass through the lines of mortality? Or immortality?
Death just might be one of the most misunderstood subjects today. To many it is enshrouded in mystery and evokes dreaded feelings of fear, uncertainty, and even hopelessness. Others believe that their deceased loved ones are not dead at all, but instead live with them or in other realms! Still others are confused about the relationship between the body, spirit, and soul. But does it really matter what you believe? Yes... absolutely! Because what you believe about the dead will have a profound impact on what happens to you in the end-times.
Death is not the end of life. Death is just a departure for the Spirit World, which is our true home in the afterlife. People today know about earthly things in much greater detail than they did in the past, but when it comes to the important spiritual matters such as death and the world after death, it can be said that the people of the past were much more knowledgeable. Information concerning the world after death is not taught at schools, many people believe that talk of the world after death is old-fashioned, and spend their lives in ignorance of it.
Our universe may be one of many, physicists say. The universe we live in may not be the only one out there. In fact, our universe could be just one of an infinite number of universes making up a "multiverse." Though the concept may stretch credulity, there's good physics behind it. This is what science says or foretells.
One of the most exciting and enticing topics to speculate about is the idea that our reality — our Universe the way it is and the way we experience it — might not be the only version of events out there. Perhaps there are other Universes, perhaps even with different versions of ourselves, different histories and alternate outcomes, than our own. When it comes to physics, this is one of the most exciting possibilities of all, but it's far from a certainty. So could it be true then that death is the travel between universes – an unending journey through existence where people never die but transit through one universe into the other?
When a person dies the physical body ceases to exist. However, the rest of his existence or consciousness continues. The existence of the person minus the physical body is known as the subtle body (linga-dēha) and it comprises of the mental, causal (intellect) and supracausal (subtle ego) bodies. This subtle body then goes to one of the 13 subtle planes of existence other than the Earth plane.
Some religions believe that the moment life goes out of the body, the soul starts its motion to cross various definite frontiers in space. It begins its eternal travel into time. Others believe the body turns to dust again, and the spirit goes back to God, who gave it. The spirit of every person who dies--whether righteous or wicked--returns to God at death. Maybe this is true too. Maybe God resides in one of the many universes other than where we reside. Or may God himself is the unknown universe which we know not of.
For as long as anyone can remember philosophers, scientists and religious men have pondered what happens after death. Is there life after death, or do we just vanish into the great unknown? There is also a possibility there is no such thing as what we usually define as death. A new scientific theory suggests that death is not the terminal event we think. A while ago, scientists reported they found the first evidence of parallel universe. This discovery leads us to a thought-provoking subject called “Biocentrism”. Robert Lanza, M.D, scientist, theoretician and author of “Biocentrism” – How Life and Consciousness are the Keys to Understanding the True Nature of the Universe thinks there are many reasons why we won’t die. To him death is not the end, as so many of us think. We believe we will die, because that is what we have been taught, So will You Continue To Live In A Parallel Universe? There are many scientific experiments that seriously question the term death, as we know it. According to quantum physics certain observations cannot be predicted absolutely. Instead, there is a range of possible observations each with a different probability. The “many-worlds” interpretation, states that each of these possible observations corresponds to a different universe, what is generally called the “multiverse”.
Robert Lanza has taken these theories even further. He believes that “there are an infinite number of universes, and everything that could possibly happen occurs in some universe. Death does not exist in any real sense in these scenarios. All possible universes exist simultaneously, regardless of what happens in any of them.
If you revert to science, we have learnt that Energy Never Dies. Although individual bodies are destined to self-destruct, the alive feeling – the ‘Who am I?’- is just a 20-watt fountain of energy operating in the brain. But this energy doesn’t go away at death. One of the surest axioms of science is that energy never dies; it can neither be created nor destroyed.” This energy can transcend from one world to another.
Space and time are not hard objects, but rather the tools our mind uses to weave everything together. Everything you see and experience right now is a whirl of information occurring in your mind. Space and time are simply the tools for putting everything together. Lanza points out that death does not exists in a timeless, spaceless world. There is no distinction between past, present, and future. It is only a stubbornly persistent illusion. Immortality doesn’t mean a perpetual existence in time without end, but rather resides outside of time altogether. Albert Einstein once said: ” Reality is merely an illusion, although a very persistent one.” How can we tell what is real and not? How can we with certainty know that our brain is not giving us the illusion of a physical world? So when my father left us just before the New Year 2017, our family was prepared to let him go. Because we knew that his time here was over. He went away into one of the other worlds, the other realms of existence, and into one of the other universes he travelled. We know he is happy there too just as much as he was happy here with us and we know that he continues to live on – as death does not exist, it is a mere illusion!
Mohammed Iqbal had beautifully explained this, when he had said:
Sitaron Se Aage Jahaan Aur Bhi Hain
Sitaron Se Aage Jahaan Aur Bhi Hain Abhi Ishq Ke Imtihan Aur Bhi Hain Beyond the stars are even more worlds There are still even more tests of passion
Tihi Zindagi Ke Nahin Yeh Fazaayein Yahan Sainkadon Kaaravaan Aur Bhi Hain These expanses are not devoid of life Here there are hundreds of other caravans too Qanaa'at Na Kar Aalam-e-Rang-o-Bu Par Chaman Aur Bhi, Aashiyaan Aur Bhi Hain! Don't be contented with the world of colour and scent There are other gardens, other nests (resting places), too Agar Kho Gaya Ek Nasheman Toh Kya Gham Muqaamaat-e-Aah-o-Fughaan Aur Bhi Hain! If a nest (home) was lost, what's the [cause of] grief? There are other places for sighing and lamenting Tu Shaaheen Hai, Parvaaz Hai Kaam Tera Tere Saamne Aasmaan Aur Bhi Hain You are a falcon, your task is to fly Before you there are other skies as well to cover Isi Roz-o-Shab Mein Ulajh Kar Nah Rah Jaa Ki Tere Zamaan-o-Makaan Aur Bhi Hain Don't remain entangled, in this day-and-night For you have other times-and-places too Gaye Din Ke Tanhaa Thaa Main Anjuman Mein Yahaan Ab Mere Raaz-Daan Aur Bhi Hain! The days are gone when I was alone in the gathering Here, now, I have other secret-sharers too
