The Sister Accord Accelerator: Q&A with Rory Lee
Q: What has been the most challenging part about growing your brand?
I would say it’s an even split between not having enough time, resources, or knowledge. As an experienced makeup artist I know the kinds of products that are used and needed in the entertainment space, but the steps it took to create that ideal product was difficult while trying to balance my full-time career.
?Q: What has been the most rewarding experience in your brand journey?
Seeing my hard work grow! I started with a single eye-shadow palette and now I’ve grown into an entire makeup line. Also, watching my customers and clients enjoy the products. Makeup is a way to enhance someone’s natural features, so when a client says they see the results they have been looking for, I know my hard work is paying off.?
Q: How and where do you find your inspiration?
My family and my community are my why. It warms my heart to be able to build a business for the generations ahead, and enrich the lives of others through my products.?
