Great Ormond Street gets the green light
John Sisk & Son welcomed the decision in early February by Camden Council’s planning committee to resolve to grant planning permission for the development of a new Children’s Cancer Centre at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The new clinical building, on Great Ormond Street itself, will be dedicated to caring for children and young people from across the UK and beyond with rare and difficult-to-treat cancers.

Sisk selected to develop One Opera Square
Limerick Twenty Thirty (LTT) has appointed Sisk for the design and construction of the circa 10,000sqm Opera Square site-wide basement and the six storey One Opera Square office building. Works on the project have commenced and will be completed in January 2025.
The works on the current contract comprises of the construction of the site wide basement and the 6 storey One Opera Square office building. The basement will accommodate 155 car spaces including Electronic Charging Spots, 323 bicycles and ancillary areas serving the buildings above.
Kex Gill re-alignment secures final Government go-ahead
A multi-million pound scheme to secure the future of a key east-west route is set to begin after the hugely ambitious project has been given the go-ahead by the UK Government. Sisk was appointed engineering company for the £68.8m project in September 2022 and have since been waiting for the Department for Transport (DfT) to approve the scheme’s Full Business Case.
