Sisk DPD knowledge sharing day
The Sisk Digital Project Delivery (DPD) team, Ireland and Europe held a team-building day in Dublin with a focus on teamwork, collaboration, sharing ideas and most importantly having some fun.
Over 30 percent of the team had not met each other in person before due to Covid and travel restrictions and 40 percent of the team had started the business in the last 12 months.
Different parts of the world and something to be very proud of in a modern construction business is that there is nearly a 50/50 split in gender which is a credit to the team.
Steven McGee , Cillian Kelly and Bernard McGarrity had an open discussion with the group about our ‘Breaking New Ground’ strategy and how the DPD team can help support the business. We wanted to hear from everyone on what worked well on our projects and what isn’t working so well. We then brainstormed ideas about the best-proposed solution and how to make improvements for the successful delivery of our project support to all staff in the business.
In the afternoon, the team held workshops and worked together to solve problems that we face on our projects to produce solutions that will be actioned and reported on at our next DPD Knowledge sharing day.
