Sir Clive Woodward Lunch to Open London Sporting Club in the City
Ian Stafford
Founder/Owner of the The Sporting Club. Writer, broadcaster, speaker, host, media consultant. DISRUPTOR.
The man who managed the England rugby team to World Cup glory will be the official first guest when the London Sporting Club opens up in the city at the Capital Club in Abchurch Lane, a rugby conversion away from Bank and Cannon Street. Sir Clive Woodward will be the London Sporting Club In The City's inaugural lunch guest when we open our doors at the Capital Club on November 1st. This means that LSC members will now have two venues to enjoy and network - Morton's in Mayfair and the Capital Club in the City. Sir Clive joins an impressive list of lunch guests who have entertained LSC members, from Eddie Jones, Sir Steve Redgrave and Kumar Sangakkara, to David Coulthard, Sam Allardyce and, this Tuesday, Three Dames - Katherine Grainger, Laura Davies and Kelly Holmes. Later in November we have Andrew Strauss in Mayfair (14th) and then, on December 5th, British & Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton. There are still some tickets remaining for the Woodward lunch, and a few more for Strauss, one week before the Ashes begins. If interested contact me.
