What is Sip Sip Club?

Students, faculty, and staff can join the program for $99.99 for the academic year, receiving an exclusive Mason Dining mug. Members who purchase this mug will enjoy exclusive text promotions through myDtxt and unlimited brewed coffee and tea from six campus locations for the entire academic year, including Starbucks, Dunkin', Einstein Bros. Meet Anna Simakova, The Intern Behind the Design

Anna, a rising junior at George Mason University, is the creative talent behind the Mason Dining mug design. Majoring in Art and Visual Technology with a focus on Graphic Design, Anna excels at turning ideas into art. As a graphic design intern with Mason Dining, she adds her artistic flair to dining’s initiatives. The mug’s design features a hand-drawn skyline of iconic George Mason University landmarks, including the Mason clock. Sustainability Impact

With the average college student drinking about two cups of coffee each day, amounting to over 700 cups annually, Mason Dining's initiative to introduce a reusable cup is making a significant impact on sustainability. By encouraging the use of their new reusable mug, the program helps prevent over 300 single-use coffee and tea cups from being utilized throughout the academic year for each participating student. This shift not only reduces waste but also minimizes the environmental footprint associated with disposable cups.
