What’s new
??Product launch: To make CITE-Seq simple and easy, we are proud to launch the BD? OMICS-One Immune Profiler Protein Panel. Now you can use this pre-titrated, lyophilized panel to explore 30 different immune markers in your sample in a single experiment. Check out the panel and application data.
? New ebook: Download our newest ebook “Advancing immuno-oncology through single-cell multiomics” to see how integrating multiple omes can advance immuno-oncology research.
? New versions of the ATAC-Seq protocols : Revision 2.0 of ATAC-Seq protocols (ATAC and ATAC + RNA), are now available.
Document Highlight
This month we are highlighting the BD? OMICS-One XTA WTA Assay Kit Flyer.
The BD? OMICS-One XT WTA Automation-Compatible Assay Kit is designed to simplify and streamline your single-cell workflow on the Hamilton? Microlab? NGS STAR Assay Ready Workstation (ARW). With an input of more than 1 million cells, you can prepare up to 48 libraries at once. Explore the data and request a quote today.
BD Rhapsody? System Publication Highlight
Johann K, Bohn T, Shahneh F, et al. Therapeutic melanoma inhibition by local micelle-mediated cyclic nucleotide repression. Nat Commun. 2021;12:5981.
This study profiles CD45+ tumor infiltrating immune cells in micelle-treated melanomas in mice using the? BD Rhapsody? Whole Transcriptome Analysis (WTA) Amplification assay and BD? Single-Cell Multiplexing Kit
? What they discovered:? The study demonstrated that the nucleotide cyclase inhibitor MDL-12,330 can be effectively incorporated into polypept(o)ide micelles, which are then released locally in melanomas. Unlike the free drug, these MDL-loaded micelles are non-toxic and efficiently suppress cAMP formation and melanoma growth in mice.
? What this means: This research introduces a novel method for delivering nucleotide cyclase inhibitors using micelles, which provides a targeted and efficient way to suppress tumor growth. Results from this study expand our understanding of approaches that could potentially be used to curb melanoma growth.
