Welcome to the?AI in 5?newsletter with Clarifai!
Every week we bring you new models, tools, and tips to build production-ready AI!
Here is the summary of what we will be covering this week: ??
AI Operating Model for Content Organization and Personalization ??
Before we dive into the summary of models, we have an exciting announcement. We're hosting a new webinar this month!?
If you and your organization are exploring AI for content organization and personalization but find it challenging to move AI projects from prototypes to large-scale production, this webinar is for you.
Clarifai will share over 10 years of experience helping some of the world’s largest organizations maximize the value of their data, save time and money, and improve demand conversion.
Roundup of LLMs, Multi-Modal Models, and Vision Models ??
Llama 3.1 from Meta?
Llama 3.1 is the new state-of-the-art model from Meta available in 8B, 70B and 405B parameter sizes. Llama 3.1 405B is the first openly available model that rivals the top closed-source models.
Along with the 405B variant, Meta also released the upgraded versions of the 8B and 70B models. These models are multilingual and have a significantly longer context length of 128K, state-of-the-art tool use, and overall stronger reasoning capabilities. Try out the model here.?
GPT-4o mini from Open AI??
GPT-4o mini is the smallest, most intelligent, and cost-efficient model from Open AI.?
The model surpasses GPT-3.5 Turbo and other small models on academic benchmarks across both textual intelligence and multimodal reasoning, and it is 60% cheaper than GPT-3.5 Turbo.
The model also comes with a context window of 128K tokens and supports up to 16K output tokens per request. Try out the model here.??
Claude 3.5 Sonnet from Anthropic AI?
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is the first release in the 3.5 model family and outperforms the previous Claude 3 Opus.?
领英推荐
The model excels in complex tasks like autonomous coding and visual processing and also shines when working with long documents, ensuring accuracy in tasks like retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), search and retrieval.?
Claude 3.5 Sonnet is 2x faster and 5x cheaper than Claude 3 Opus. Try out the model here.
Florence-2 from Microsoft?
Florence-2?is the new lightweight vision-language model open-sourced by Microsoft and can handle a variety of vision and vision-language tasks through a prompt-based approach.
The model demonstrates strong zero-shot capabilities across tasks such as captioning, object detection, grounding, and segmentation and is available in two variants: Florence-2-base (0.23B parameters) and Florence-2-large (0.77B parameters).
Try out the model here.
Mistral NeMo 12B from Mistral AI:
Mistral NeMo is the new and the best small model from Mistral AI built in collaboration with NVIDIA. This is a state-of-the-art 12B model with a 128k context length.?
The model offers a balance between size and performance, offering advanced capabilities on a manageable scale.
The model also excels in reasoning, world knowledge, and coding tasks, making it one of the most capable models within its size category. Try out the model here.
