Singapore Pools Supports Social Service Sector in Digital Skills Building

Digital Suite by Singapore Pools Academy

In March 2022, #SingaporePoolsAcademy launched its Digital Suite to provide social service organisations with tools and resources to help their employees build the digital skills needed to live, learn and work in the modern workplace. The suite houses two programmes, #iLearn and #iInnovate.

Learning Solutions that Impact People and Business Outcomes

#iLearn provides a library of microlearning videos on popular office applications to perform workplace-related tasks such as creating presentations and reports, digital collaboration, problem-solving, sharing information, data management and process automation.

#iInnovate offers a one-day workshop on creating automated workflows for everyday business processes using low code, drag-and-drop tools. Participants can apply these skills quickly and effectively to develop automated workflows. Post-workshop, coaches from the Academy can provide support if needed to help social service organisations develop and implement the workflows.

Imparting Digital Skills for Sustainable Learning

Through this initiative, we hope to create a steady supply of knowledge, skills, experiences and resources that social service organisations can draw upon to continuously train, upgrade, and upskill their workforce across all levels.
