Question: What is your current profession/work?

Piyush: The Ads you see on your favorite social media apps Instagram,FB are run by my agency. I run a Performance Marketing agency. (Full Bio >> I run a business that helps companies create the ads you see on social media apps like Instagram and Facebook. It's pretty cool because we get to be creative and make ads that people like you might be interested in clicking on! My business is called a "Performance Marketing agency." Basically, we work with something called "D2C" and "Edtech" startups. "D2C" means that these startups sell their products directly to customers, and "Edtech" means that they create cool tools and resources to help people learn online. We help these startups by using our special skills to get their products and services in front of more people. That way, more people can discover the awesome things they're creating and buy or use them! We love working with these startups because they're doing really innovative and exciting things, and we get to help them grow into really big businesses (we're talking 9 figures or more!). It's a lot of work, but it's also really fun and rewarding because we get to help make the world a better place by supporting these awesome startups. Question: How did you get started with this profession? (What's the backstory?)

Piyush: I was exposed to startup world in december 2014 by my friend Tilak and through lot of startups coming in that time, then in 2015 Modiji introduced Startup India and then TVF Pitchers came, and I was thinking of ideas everyday. 2016 I started a startup for my small town near Nashik in Dhule district. because amazon/flipkart were not delivering there, I didn't executed it successfully and I failed, (I took my Dad's money to start that startup). I was in think zone, and was thinking I will start a startup or my company once I am done with my final year of college in april 2017. But God had different plans, My Dad's business got completely shut down and I decided to job that too something I was not intrested in. I wanted to do Digital Marketing. then in May along with my job I started learning about Online Marketing along side from YT and top blogs like Neilpatel.com, June 2017 I invested my 5k from my salary and decided to do a online course. and that was life changing decision. this is how I started my journey. Sept/Oct 2017 I quit my job and started working as unpaid/free intern at a digital marketing and PR firm in Nashik. again best decision of my life. August 2018 I started my Podcast, Super best decision of my life, 2019 May, I shifted to Delhi work with my back then mentor Avi Arya, for free. Side by side I was also doing freelancing, Aug 2019 I came to Nashik and started freelancing on full swing, April 2020 in lockdown I started my Performance Marketing and funnel agency PK Digital.

Question: What would be the one lesson that you would want to give to people to want to enter this profession?

Piyush: My best advice would be Focus on work, don't compare yourself with others, its you vs you. As Krishna says Karm kiye ja fal ki chinta na kar. Also my advice would be please focus on fitness and diet, that is very much important along with work. Don't get into bad sangat (influence) Keep auditing your list.

Question: What kind of daily activities are involved in this work?(Or you can share your daily routine with us?)

Piyush: As of 2nd March 2023 I don't have a proper routine, which I am working on currently. But I goto gym everyday (6 times a week) and eat clean food, work from my home for my clients. that's it, I don't have much friends in Nashik, so most of days of the month my routine is gym-home-gym-home.
