It took me seven years to write. I was the prayer chaplain for a poetry site in the UK for many years consisting of poets worldwide, and developed a lot of research. I started putting them together seven years ago, after completing my studied at University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee in English literature, creative writing, African Diaspora, and poetry in 2009.
