SIMPLY RECEPTIVE

I know you’re smart. And yes, I understand how frustrating it can be when people ask you to repeat what they heard you say the first time. It’s one of those "urghhh" moments, right? But before jumping to conclusions about how inattentive or mentally slow they might be, could you give them the benefit of the doubt?
In Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell emphasizes that success isn’t just about individual talent but also about the opportunities we give and receive. He writes, "No one; not rock stars, not professional athletes, not software billionaires, and not even geniuses; ever makes it alone." This is a reminder that even in our interactions, patience and understanding pave the way for mutual growth.
In these fragile times, it’s essential to avoid dwelling on assumptions or presumptions; especially when the facts to clarify a misunderstanding or validate an idea are right in front of us. It’s simple: by being receptive and offering others the chance to understand, we not only help them but help ourselves. It’s a cycle; what you give comes back to you. Call it karma, call it reciprocity, but that’s how life works.
So, easy does it. Stay open, stay receptive, and help foster clarity and understanding for everyone involved.
Good day. #GODSEAGLE
