The idea of the transistor is so simple that even i knew at a very young age that this would be the next step after the germanium diode (Ge) and the silicon diode(Si) This single transistor made Sony a super giant of Japan and the world for decades ? This single transistor also made Steve Jobs Apple computers possible And now Hand held smart phones  that now  seriously challenging desk tops and lap tops possible also made peoples heads now filled with code that they are not able to see the next simple thing ?
