Simply. Better. Together

One of the things I am most proud of is the culture our 900 colleagues around the world have helped build. A few months ago, we asked ourselves a simple question, “is our culture today what we need for tomorrow?” With all the changes over this transformative year, we found was that the time was right to take a fresh look at our culture, our company, with an eye towards the values that would help us reach our fullest potential.

The last time we did an exercise like this across all positions in the company was back in 2019. We were are a much different company back then. Today, we’re almost twice the size of what we were. We’ve acquired two companies and hired some fresh faces. Now was the right time to review, revise, and refresh our culture for the company we want to be.

Amidst the chaos of working at a fast-moving scale-up, I’m so thankful for the hundreds of colleagues who took time out to participate in surveys, contribute to work groups, and participate in virtual offsites. We had participation from ALL levels within the company, not just from leadership. It was a truly 360 degree effort and we saw participation in the process from nearly 70% of the company.

Coming out of this were three cultural values:

Keep it Simple – We cut through the chaos and ambiguity to simplify complexity at speed and scale

Make it Better – We remain restless, brave and passionate, taking accountability to constantly create something better

Win it Together – We transcend borders to collaborate with trust, empathy and compassion.

In short, we’re, “Simply. Better. Together.”

One team focused on the common mission of eliminating complexity in payments and making frictionless commerce a reality.
